Caxbyte Studios ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy.

The specific data we collect depends on which Caxbyte Studios app or service you use. Some apps are fully local-first and collect no personal data beyond what is required to process purchases. Where this policy describes data such as IP addresses, device identifiers, analytics, or crash reports, those practices apply only to apps or services that use such features — not to every app. For app-specific details, see the per-app sections below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly. Depending on the app or service, this may include information provided when you (where applicable) create an account, make a purchase, or contact customer support. Some of our apps do not require an account and collect no information you provide directly.

Payments made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple Inc. We do not receive or store your full payment card information for App Store purchases.

For purchases made through our website or other platforms, payments are processed by third-party payment processors in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. We receive only the information necessary to complete the transaction, such as confirmation of payment.

Some apps are local-first and store your content only on your device, not on our servers. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. Where data is stored on servers, it may be held on secure servers operated by us or our service providers.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verified parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information promptly.

App-Specific Disclosures: Bubble Notes

Bubble Notes is a local-first app. Your notes, attachments, tags, and all content you create are stored only on your device. We do not have servers that receive, store, or sync your notes, and we cannot read your content. Deleting the app removes this data from your device.

Bubble Notes does not collect personal information, account credentials (it has no accounts), analytics, usage tracking, crash reports, location, or device advertising identifiers. It contains no analytics SDKs and no advertising.

In-App Purchases: Bubble Notes offers optional in-app purchases (a tip jar and a one-time "remove ads/cards" unlock). These are processed through the Apple App Store and RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider. RevenueCat receives a record of your purchase associated with an anonymous, randomly generated identifier — not your name, email, or Apple ID. This purchase history is used only to deliver your purchases, restore them across reinstalls, and provide aggregate sales analytics. It is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking. Apple processes the actual payment; we never receive or store your payment card details.
